The first Imbil Rally was held in 1990, since that time we have moved to a new site (not all that far from the old one) with great facilities, and plenty of top camping spots right beside the river. The rally seems to get bigger and better each year, the 2003 rally was a big success, thanks to everyone who turned up (all 750 of you!!!). Once again the  Glasshouse Mountains Ulysses took home the Highest Club Attendance award, that’s the third year running!  Again, we all want to thank you for your support of our rally.

The rally is held at the BORUMBA DEER PARK, 2 km from Lake Borumba. This is a great place for the weekend if you just want to get away from it all, overnight vans are available if you don’t feel like putting up the tent (you’ll need to book early to get one for the rally). Canoe and boat hire, and farm tours are also available. If you think this is for you call the owners, Rick & June on (07) 5484 5196.

The rally is named after the nearby town of Imbil, the locals really make us feel welcome every year. When riding through the town please restrain yourself, obey the speed limit (40kph), and don’t ride like a complete maniac, we’d like to be welcome back for years to come. There is a time and place for riding like an idiot, its called the Gymkhana. Its on Saturday afternoon and you get to have an audience of hundreds, plus the chance to win stuff !
